Elementary Science Olympiad

Each school will send a team of students in grades 4-6 (maximum of five sixth grade participants on a team) consisting of a maximum of 15 students. Team members will participate in one or more events (total of 17 events) during the course of the day. A National Elementary Science Olympiad rules book will be sent to each participating school outlining each event.
Each school participating must provide one event captain and one event assistant to coordinate and facilitate an event. In addition, one adult per six students (science coach and assistant) must accompany students at the event.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation. First, second, and third place participants will receive a medal for each event. First, second, and third place plaques for schools who receive the most overall points for all events (based on place in each event).
DATE/TIME Saturday, April 2, 2011, 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Awards Ceremony begins at approximately 2:00 p.m.
